03 Feb 6 Sustainable Companies I Love!
This sustainable community that I am apart of deserves a little more recognition and a little more praise for their efforts! I want to take some time, right now, to do just that. Read about these wonderful companies—and support them for all the good they continue to do!
1.) The first company that I want to share with you is Pela Case founded by Jeremy Lang!
“Did you know that there are more than 1 billion plastic phone cases sold every single year?”
Pela Case created the world’s first 100% compostable phone case as a way to do their part for the environment and lessen the plastic impact around the globe. These cases are made entirely of eco-friendly and decomposable materials, meaning that once you are done with the case—all you have to do is put it in a backyard compost and it will biodegrade. Allowing the material to “return back to the Earth gracefully when you’re done with it.”
2.) Ecogoddess aka Marina Qutab is exactly what her Instagram handle says—a goddess! Marina founded the company Zero Waste Kit as a way to create a kind of convenience around the zero-waste lifestyle!
“We are on a mission to empower you with the tools, mindset and convenience you need to reduce your everyday waste.”
The kits that this company makes ensure that all the daily essentials are in one place. These zero-waste kits are kept in a glass jar with a cork koozie and a bamboo lid! Each kit is equipped with a reusable spork, knife, steel straw, bamboo napkin and two produce bags! Zero Waste Kit also sells items separately, so make sure to check them out for any purchase at https://zerowastekit.org/collections/zero-waste-kit-featured and give the one and only Ecogoddess some love by following her on Instagram @ecogoddess !
3.) Zero Waste Store is an online store created for those who are seeking reliable sustainable products!
“We do it for Mama Earth.”
Zero Waste Store was started as a way for people to have alternatives to products typically wrapped in plastic and infused with harmful ingredients. This shop has everything from health and beauty items to household and cleaning products and even pet-care goods. Better yet—all products from Zero Waste Store are earth and ocean-friendly, all-natural, sustainably sourced, palm oil-free, cruelty-free and to top it off, zero-waste! Order from Zero Waste Store online: https://zerowastestore.com/pages/about-us and get your products shipped and delivered, plastic-free or check out their Instagram @zerowastestore and give this shop some sustainable love.

4.) Kathryn Kellogg, a climate optimist, founded the company Going Zero Waste as a way to share her own personal zero-waste story as well as inspire others to do the same.
“Small actions done by hundreds of thousands of people will change the world.”
Kathryn began this journey as a way to direct focus on the wellness of herself. However, once she spent some time in the zero-waste world, she created a blog to further her impact and help others improve their personal health, improve the health of the planet and most importantly, show everyone that their choices matter. To get involved with Kathryn and her mission visit her website: https://www.goingzerowaste.com or Instagram @going.zero.waste. Along with these platforms, invest in her book 101 Ways to go Zero Waste and read about this lifestyle and the changes that you can make in a powerful way!
5.) Another company making strides in the zero-waste family is Plastic Free Pursuit created by Aimee!
“Every single-use swap you make adds up to a whole lot of garbage kept from our landfills.”
Aimee saw the amount of waste that humans have continually produced and decided to create an online zero-waste store that offers products for you, from the Earth to help eliminate some of our unnecessary waste. A few of our personal favorite products being the reusable coffee bags, bamboo facial rounds, biodegradable floss and reusable tea bags! Check out their online store for more products at https://www.plasticfreepursuit.com or visit their Instagram: @plasticfreepursuit and support this sustainable company.
6. The final company I want to share with you is Sustainyoself. This company was created by two college students, Geevie and Sophia—who also happen to be twin sisters!
“Spreading plastic pollution awareness and low-impact living.”
This team of sisters started their zero-waste journey as a way to live consciously and reduce their own personal impact on the environment! This intention turned into a passion and they created a website and store to help further their message! Check out their online shop at https://www.sustainyoself.com/shop for natural face masks, armpit detox’s, deodorants and more! And follow their Instagram @sustainyoself to continue to watch their zero-waste journey unfold!
I love watching others as they make monumental impacts in the zero-waste community! This is why sharing the good that these companies are doing is so important. Support these brands with us and watch as their zero-waste stories are beautifully and sustainably written!
